What is mr pibb?

Mr Pibb is a carbonated soft drink created by The Coca-Cola Company. It was introduced in 1972 under the name "Peppo" as a competitor to Dr Pepper. After a poor reception, it was reformulated and renamed Mr. Pibb.

Mr. Pibb has a distinct cherry-cola flavor, although the exact combination of flavors is a closely guarded secret. Its taste is often described as spicier and more intense than Dr Pepper. While it is often compared to Dr Pepper, Coca-Cola has positioned Mr. Pibb as a distinct brand with its own unique flavor profile.

In 2001, Mr. Pibb was replaced in most markets by Pibb Xtra, a reformulation that added cinnamon to the flavor profile. Pibb Xtra is the version currently sold by Coca-Cola.
